When young Rosa journeyed from Jalisco to LA, then giving birth to her baby boy she had no idea her life would end short from heart cancer. Leaving behind a broken hearted husband, a daughter and a 2 year old boy. Husband and grown daughter both devastated and lost in grief soon stray in life’s struggles to find their own answers – leaving the 2 year old boy in the cold hands of LA. Cut to – 25 years later present day – in studio and loyal client Art realizes mom never left….
All men are mama’s boys, and all real men understand that mothers are the most important women on this planet. If the root of all our adult psychological and emotional baggage begin at home with the parents, imagine being born and going through life not knowing and having them. Still, true love is unconditional and comes from a source beyond this world. Art and Rosa is living proof of that result – true success beyond survival, against nature, environment, circumstance and the rest of the excuses the weak use. Against all odds and out through the concrete comes the rose - life.
A great first session. Another inspiration and reminder for myself that longevity is about purpose. Tattoo culture, or even art in general is not a business of decoration…….for me, or our clients. It has to be devoted to an idea – a truth that’s beyond man’s existence that’s worth constantly striving and working hard for. Big thanks to the homie Art.
